Luis Ascunce Ansorena

Luis Ascunce Ansorena, Pamplona, 1998.
Luis is a 25-year-old plastic artist who owns a sculpture and painting studio in his hometown, Astrain, in the region of Navarra. After finishing highschool at the Arts school of Pamplona, he coursed a High Technical Sculpture Training at said centre, finishing in June 2017.
Furthermore, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Arts in June 2022 from Fine Arts Complutense University, in Madrid. Since then, he has worked in diverse fields such as artistic stonework or museography, broadening his knowledge in art.
He has participated in collective exhibitions in Madrid and Pamplona. At the age of 22 he created his first solo exhibition from September 2020 until January 2021, hosted at Gallery Verónica del Hoyo y Colino, in Lagasca 12, Madrid.
Nowadays, he lives in Pietrasanta, Italy, where he continues to research and develop his work.

Luis Ascunce accumulates some prizes such as;

Sculpture made for; Nacional park of Bértiz. Pamplona.

Sculpture “Bull of fire “ made for Council of Astraín, Municipaly of Cizur.

Making the trophy to; Asocioación de libreros de Navarra.

Second prize with the Complutense University of Madrid in; V Contest Valduero with the fine arts.

Accesit, with the Complutense University of Madrid in; IV Award Deméter.
